Miss Oddettes is back in business!

Many, many thanks to all of you for your prayers, well wishes, cards, emails, notes and phone calls. My kidney transplant was May 26th and my recovery has been smooth as silk. Whereas, I thought I would not be able to continue with Miss Oddette's BBQ sauces, your support and loyalty has made it possible for me continue. I will be released to work in a couple of months and will be on the road promoting the sauces again. 

No Joke is now available. I was able to have a small run produced. In the seven years Miss Oddette's has been available, there have been no increases. Due to ridiculous increase in the cost of sugar, I have no other alternative but to increase the prices. Each jar is now $6.00 and the 12 jar cases are now $60.00 plus shipping.

My grandmother “Granga” made BBQ sauce during the Depression Era out of love for her children. She wanted to provide them with something they wanted but could not afford to buy. What she made was so wonderful that everyone preferred her sauce over anything they could purchase. It was out of love that she taught me to make the sauce. In her own way she nurtured me in nurturing others through our preparation of food. She knew that I would continue to provide her family with the BBQ sauce she created long after her physical presence ended. Now it is out of that same love that I share our BBQ sauce with you and your family. My only hope is that you enjoy it as much as we have and that it contributes to memorable times and traditions.
